Fact #1: Only some lenses require cleaning

Many lens types need to be cleaned but not all of them do. Some lenses are actually intended for daily wear. These are to be disposed of at the end of the day. When using the cleaning solution, make sure that the contents of the bottle are not left exposed for a long time. It would also be a good idea not to leave solution covers or caps lying around with the inner part exposed or lying on a dirty surface. Fact #4: Some solutions may be recalled.

You should pay attention to news about products related to contact lenses. Like every other product, solutions may not always be safe. Sometimes, the danger of using certain solutions only becomes obvious after people have used them extensively. The high rate of infections or eye damage that accompanies solution use may be due to certain chemical ingredients. In this case, the solutions that have been found out to be defective or harmful have to be recalled.
